I have the second of two Eduard P-51D Mustangs to finish from this Royal Class edition, though as it will remain in my own collection when finished, it will soon be put on a back-burner while another commission build becomes my prioroty. I will anounce the details of that build soon. .

I always have a model simmering away in the background while my main build slowly comes together, that model is very often a Bf109 from my stash, and this one has been in and out of its box since November last year. I have been obsessed with Messerschmitt's diminutive fighter since a boy, and especially G-6's from the Defence of the Reich period. This model moves me one step closer to achieving my ambition of having one example of each RVD band colour, this green band denoting JG27, with its incongruous 'Africa' badge.

Don't fret though, the commissioned Mustang is almost finished too.

Scat II and V ready to send off to America.

Fresh out of the spray shop is this 1/48 Eduard P-51D complete with open gun and engine bay, ready to join the Tamiya P38 finished a couple of months ago. Such resin aditions, such as gun bays and engines, take a considerable amount of work to complete, and I am always glad to have them finished, though I won't feel totaly relaxed until both models are safely with their new owner.

I have one more model to build for this particular customer, and it will be another mount of U.S Air Force ace Robin Olds, though which particular aircraft that will be will remain a secret for now.
