On the bench
On the bench
On the bench currently are a pair of commissions:
The first for Airfix Model World magazine is Eduard's wonderful 1/48 Tempest Mk.II, continuing the Hawker fighter theme of recent weeks.
Number two on the bench is the return of Hasegawa's 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf109G, being built for a customer in Russia, which was put on hold because of the uncertainties following Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

HOT OFF THE PRODUCTION LINE

Recently finished: Fly Model's 1/32 Hurricane Mk.1 built for a private collector and military historian. The model will be mounted on a display stand featuring the preserved pistons of V6685.
The actual aircraft was newly delivered to
249 Sqn and had yet to receive its individual
code letter when it was shot down during the Battle of Britain.

Fresh from the spray shop is Dragon Model's superb Pz.Kpfw III (Kursk edition with bonus interior). A commission from Airfix Model World magazine.
Publications
In the shops this month is the August issue of Airfix Model World magazine,
featuring my latest airbrush tutorial dispelling the myths of using Humbrol enamels. Featuring several models including Eduard's recently released Spitfire Mk.1
