Airbrush Collection Showcase
Over the years I have amassed a fine collection of airbrushes; some being my everyday workhorses while others I term my cabinet collection, being limited editions or one-offs and far too special to actually use. All are available for my students to handle and ponder upon as they decide which type of airbrush would be perfect for them. I thought it was high time I displayed some of them here.

This beautiful gold-accented Harder & Steenbeck Squidmar Ultra 2024 is number 25 of a limited edition release of just 2,000. The airbrush body features a black triple chrome finish adorned with an exquisite gold-colour, laser engraved tentacle design that reflects the Squidmar logo.
Squidmar Miniatures is an on-line Patreon and Facebook community hosted by miniaturist Emil Nystrom, who along with his friends, create one-off dioramas, fantasy miniature creations and tutorials on many subjects.

Another beautiful Harder & Steenbeck Squidmar lilmited edition, this time an Evolution CR Plus 2024 with tripple chrome-finished body and exquisite engraved detail once again reflecting Squidmars logo. Number 24 of a run of just 2,000

My one-of-a-kind Harder & Steenbeck Chameleon Infinity 2023 allows my students to get a close look at the worlds best-selling Infinity airbrush, despite it having a totally different appearance. The airbrush customising service seems to have been suspended on the H&S website, making this unique, satin black beauty even more special and desirable. Created primarily to publicise my services in the articles I write.

My newest airbrush as of November 2025 is this Gaahleri GHPM Mobius. Featuring an impressive cutaway twist-design handle, which allows access to the lever tension adjustment nut, and gold-finished chuck and central band, this striking airbrush will join my 0.3 Iwata Revolution to become a daily-use workhorse, though with the added benefit of a larger capacity cup and needle travel adjustment which the Iwata doesn't have.

This striking black chrome Hansa 381airbrush is my go-to tool for applying World War II Luftwaffe mottle camouflage, thanks to the unique nature of it's controlled, double function lever. This lever design is, as far as I know, unique to this series of airbrushes. Owned and manufactured by Harder & Steenbeck, Hansa airbrushes have all of the function and quality of the German manufacturer.

Something very different is this Sparmax GP-35. Pistol-grip type airbrushes are very much larger than standard airbrushres, though they can be useful for people with hand or finger problems preventing them from mastering a pen-grip type. With it's large capcity side-mounted cup and it's 3.5 needle/nozzle combination, I find this airbrush very useful, and comfortable, when I have big areas to spray.

I first contacted Tiwanese company Sparmax in 2024, after a student brought with him his Sparmax MAX 3 which we used during his lesson. So impressed was I with it's quality and handling, that I wanted to add one to my collection. They generously sent me this MAX 4 and the GP-35 picturted above, and these excellent airbrushes are now available for my students to try. It's 0.4 needle/nozzle combinaton makes this particular airbrush very useful when applying viscous products such as primer/filler.
